Created orginally by Bruno Brighetti more than 25 years ago, Manda Bay Lodge (formerly Blue Safari Club) is hidden away on the peaceful island of Manda, close to Lamu, on Kenya’s north coast. Amongst the tropical vegetation and swaying palms, the club is surrounded by a beautiful stretch of empty beach. Its exclusive atmosphere is reinforced by the fact that the only access is to Manda Bay Lodge is by boat.
Manda Bay Lodge offers the idyllic retreat for the self-indulgent in search of a quiet and exclusive setting. It is a place where you can enjoy superb cuisine served with great style, as well as an excellent variety of activities. Guests of Manda Bay Lodge are accommodated in 10 thatched cottages spread along the beach. These are designed in traditional African style, and are very private and hidden amongst the vegetation. Spacious and comfortable, with large verandahs, they are delightfully decorated in local fabrics.
Culinary and Dining Experience
